The first thing we do when you bring your gold to us is we check the karat of the items to determine its purity. We do this by locating a stamp such as 10k, 14k, 18k, etc. If there is no stamp we do a quick assaying of the gold using an acid test.

We then separate the items by karat and weigh them to calculate your payout based on the current market price of gold -- that's it!
